Speaker's Bureau
Healthcare is forever changing, but you can count on your friends at the Greater Hazleton Health Alliance to keep you well informed of the latest trends. The Alliance Speaker’s Bureau is a program that provides community members with current, accurate health-related information. The employees of the Alliance—Hazleton General Hospital, the Hazleton Health & Wellness Center, and Hazleton Professional Services—share their knowledge about various aspects of healthcare through speaking obligations in the community. Physicians, nurses, registered dietitians, therapists, medical coders, and fitness and computer specialists, just to name a few, all play a different yet vital role in our healthcare organization. Employees at the Alliance share their professional experiences to help those who might want to enter the field, answer questions, and offer advice.
As a not-for-profit organization, the Alliance is committed to the powerful role education plays in our lives. You never stop learning. That’s why employees at the Alliance devote their time to visiting area school districts, service groups, and other groups who would like to share health information with their members. Below are some of the topics that are covered through the Speaker’s Bureau. Feel free to call 570-501-4787 if the topic you need isn’t listed or if you require assistance in picking a topic. Please request a speaker at least two weeks in advance in order for the Alliance to best accommodate your request.
